Our team can connect you to faculty researchers and departments to further your sponsored research interests and goals.
Office for Research
Our office works extensively with numerous officials and staff in the Office for Research, from Vice President of Research Jay Walsh to staff responsible for coordinating sponsored research, disseminating requests for proposals for collaborative opportunities and other essential services of which companies can avail themselves. We routinely connect corporate representatives with individuals in the Office for Research, to expedite sponsored and collaborative research proposals.
Office for Sponsored Research
Office for Sponsored Research is one of our most valued offices – its mission is to serve a variety of internal and external constituents, including corporations and corporate foundations, in furthering the University’s research goals. Our office regularly communicates with Office for Sponsored Research staff before, during and after sponsored research projects initiated by corporate officials, to identify potential obstacles, ensure proposals are on track for approval, guarantee a smooth implementation and determine additional pathways for collaboration.
Northwestern’s Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS)
Northwestern’s Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) serves as the integral connection in the University’s clinical and translational research ecosystem, fast-tracking innovation by enabling research teams via consultative resources and expertise. Our Corporate Engagement office, along with our corporate relations colleagues in other schools on campus, provides companies with introductions to NUCATS personnel who look to determine the quickest and most effective methods to provide research support.
Northwestern Scholars database
Northwestern Scholars is a database containing research expertise involving all academic disciplines at the University. Our office can access profiles and research output (publications, patents, etc.) of thousands of scholars, pass along information about University core research facilities and provide a glimpse of collaboration networks among researchers within Northwestern and with external scholars.
