As the Director of Outreach and Operations for the Corporate Engagement team, Kate supports the outreach efforts of the front-line officers and oversees the administrative operations of the team. She has a portfolio of corporate relationships where she connects industry representatives to Northwestern faculty, staff, and students. In this role, she focuses on creating meaningful connections to grow relationships between Northwestern and corporate partners primarily in the chemical, technology, and transportation industries. Since joining the Corporate Engagement team in 2016 as senior associate director, she has worked with many companies to secure philanthropic and research funding for the University.
Kate began working at Northwestern in 2008 for the Kellogg School of Management. There, she held positions in the Career Management Center as an industry relationship manager to help companies recruit MBA talent and on the Kellogg Corporate Partnerships team where she developed engagement strategies for her corporate partners and advised students on corporate outreach. Prior to joining the University, she worked as an account executive in the real estate banking industry and brings years of business and higher education expertise to the team.
Kate graduated from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, where she was a varsity athlete. Outside of work, Kate enjoys home improvement projects, gardening, and listening to audiobooks.
