As a senior associate director, Sheila manages mutually beneficial relationships between corporations and Northwestern University. She primarily supports aerospace, entrepreneurship, materials science, and data science industries.
Sheila began her career in non-profits and libraries, coming to Northwestern in 1998 as a research assistant. Partnering with faculty at the University and internationally, Sheila has served as editorial manager of JAMA: Internal Medicine and the lead staff evaluator of the NU Clinical and Translational Science (NUCATS) Institute. Before joining Corporate Engagement in 2016, Sheila executed centralization and optimization projects for one of the largest hospital systems in the U.S.
Sheila holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Creative Writing, a Master’s in public policy, and a certificate in negotiation from Northwestern. Sheila enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, and photography.
